San Antonio, Texas- The Valero Alamo Bowl has teamed up with NCAA Football to host a Free Youth Football Clinic on Friday, July 24th from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. at Blossom Athletic Center. University of Texas at San Antonio Head Football Coach Larry Coker and coaches from area universities will run a clinic for the first 200 youth between the ages 5-14 who register.
The youth football clinic is part of NCAA Football’s youth initiative program to promote college football to those that dream of playing the game. Youth will participate in offense, defense/agility and tacking/blocking drills run by university coaches. Youth participants will also hear from keynote speaker Coach Coker on the fundamentals of being a good football player and a great student-athlete, on the field and in the class room.
